The Midwest U050NNP/U050NN 50 Amp Power Inlet Box provides a secure, weatherproof connection point for bringing backup power into your home or business. It features a NEMA L14-50 flanged twist-lock inlet housed in a rugged single enclosure that stands up to weather and everyday field use. The 50 Amp Power Inlet Box is designed for use with a generator, a load center paired with an interlock kit, or a manual transfer switch to deliver reliable stand-by power when the grid goes down.
The lockable door has a rolled edge that protects the cord, and the unit is rated NEMA 3R for outdoor installation. Corrosion-resistant steel construction ensures long-lasting performance season after season.
